About Us
The Artemis Place staff is a dedicated team of highly educated and experienced women. We have come from diverse backgrounds, but we all believe fundamentally and passionately in the Artemis philosophy. Our executive director, Lisa Ellis, was a student in the program in the 1980’s; this is a testimonial to the power of Artemis Place to turn lives around.
The intensity of Artemis requires a low ratio of girls to staff to create and maintain a safe, stable place where girls can develop skills to maintain healthy relationships and further their education.
Our staff includes two counsellors, an academic coach and an executive director.
