The Daycare is divided into 2 sections.  The far end is the baby area where we keep low, stay quiet and move slowly.  The main part of the room is for the toddlers.  This area is noisier and the pace is quicker.  The door in between the areas helps to keep the small babies safe while still allowing for visiting between the 2 groups.  Each area has a door leading to the outside play space.  Both groups share the kitchen, sleep rooms and change areas.
 
 
 
The Philosophy The philosophy which guides the interactions in Options Daycare revolves around the concept of respect for children, the families and the caregivers themselves. In this environment children are not pushed to develop; rather their growth is facilitated by caregivers who allow them to progress according to their unique rhythms and individual needs. They do this by building responsive relationships and providing a setting rich in opportunities for play, exploration and interaction. The daycare is never static!
