Childcare Programs
There are 2 childcare programs on-site with a total of 20 licensed spaces. Our Infant/Toddler (IT) centre is licensed for 12 children and has 3 caregivers and our Multi-Age Centre (MAC) is licensed for 8 children and has 1 caregiver. We have a large beautiful outdoor play space with room to run, climb, dig, explore and enjoy all that nature offers. Both programs spend lots of time outdoors and some of our favourite activities include picking apples from our apple trees, swinging in the hammocks and planting in the garden.
Infant/Toddler
The IT space is divided into 2 sections. The far end is the infant area where we keep low, stay quiet and move slowly. The main part of the room is for the toddlers. This area is noisier, and the pace is quicker. The door in between the areas helps to keep the smaller babies safe while still allowing for visiting between the two groups. Each area has a door leading to the outside play area. Both groups share the kitchen, sleep rooms and change area.
Multi-Age Centre
As our toddlers grow closer to 3 years old they can move to the MAC as space allows. The MAC is a beautiful space located across the hall from the IT room. There is room for all children to play freely according to their interests and abilities. In the MAC we welcome and encourage young minds and practice being kind and patient with one another and our surrounding world. Curiosity, exploration and community are encouraged…but most of all- FUN!
Young Parent Program
Our Young Parent Program provides a welcoming space and nurturing community for students balancing school and parenting. We offer flexible scheduling and holistic support so young parents can continue their education while caring for their children. We offer a responsive environment which includes support with life skills and education related to parenting.
