Explore Artemis

Ready to find a school that fits you? Artemis is a place where students come to be seen, supported, and challenged in ways that work for them. Whether you’re looking for small class sizes, more flexibility, or a school community that embraces individuality, applying is the first step toward belonging.

Book a Tour

Curious what Artemis feels like in person? A school tour is the best way to get a sense of our community. Tours are informal, friendly, and usually take about 45 minutes, with plenty of time for you to ask questions. Fill out the short form, and we’ll be in touch to set up a time that works for you.

Who can apply to Artemis?

Any student in grades 10–12 who is looking for a different kind of school experience is welcome to apply. We work especially well for students who want smaller classes, flexible routines, and a supportive community.

Do I need a referral to apply?

No! Students can apply on their own, or a parent, guardian, counselor, or community worker can refer them.

Getting Started

How do I apply?

You can apply by booking a tour and completing a referral form. Once we receive your information, we’ll connect with you to guide you through the next steps.

What happens after I apply?

A member of our team will reach out to learn more about your needs and goals. We’ll set up a time to meet, answer your questions, and make sure Artemis is the right fit.

The Application Process

How soon can I start?

It depends on space and timing, but we work hard to get students settled quickly. We generally do two enrolments: September and January, but depending on the circumstance some students are able to start within a few weeks of applying.

Is there a cost to attend Artemis?

No! Artemis is a publicly funded independent school, so there is no tuition fee. Some optional activities may have small costs, but we make sure no one misses out due to finances.

What makes Artemis different from other schools?

At Artemis, we focus on small classes, hands-on learning, creativity, and strong community support. Many students say it’s the first time they’ve felt like school “fits” them.

What supports are available for students?

We offer counseling, youth support, learning assistance, and access to our Young Parents Program and childcare centre. Our staff are here to support both your learning and your well-being.
